Fortunately, I’m not the only one who thinks this way and am amazed by how many companies really do care just as much about how they source their foods as how much money they can make.

Their sugar, and line of chocolates are also surprisingly full of vitamins and minerals, although they are [obviously] full of sugar as well. For this reason, I wouldn’t give them to my toddler since I don’t want to expose him to “treats” until he is quite a bit older. However, if there were a bit of the Mascobado Sugar in something that my son happened to get a hold of, I wouldn’t be all that upset, because at least there are some vitamins and minerals in it 😉 (I mean, I know I can’t keep him away from treats forever, but at least until he’s in school and knows that it is a “special occasion”.) Oh, and if your child is allergic to dairy, quite a few of their chocolate products do contain it, so be aware.

FINAL THOUGHTS: I’ve got to say that I am really impressed with Alter Eco.
