How It Works:
The main parts of the Sleep N’ Feed:
- The base: there are four exterior pillows that surround the base of the Sleep N’ Feed. This leaves the center open for the baby to sleep or lounge on his/her back.
- There are then four more interior pillows that can be inserted inside the exterior one – acting as a “newborn insert” to accommodate a brand new baby.
- On the bottom of the base, there is a buckle used as a fastener so that it can be easily folded while traveling.
- There are also two backpack straps on the back so that it can be carried hands-free.

- You can remove the exterior pillow to be able to either nest or breastfeed in a lying position.
- The pillows can be rearranged for different breastfeeding positions, or comfortable lying positions for mothers who are not breastfeeding.

- 100% polyester fabric with polyester foam core and nylon tricot backing
- Water and stain resistant
- Temperature regulating
- Can be machine washed under cool settings or can easily be cleaned using a damp cloth
- Absolute resistance to the development of mildew
- Resistant to perspiration
- Dintex Fabric—your second skin (backside of base, exterior and interior pillows, nursing pillow cover):
- A high-tech softshell fabric that is just like the fabrics used by the big mountaineering companies!
- This fabric is not only waterproof and windproof, it is also breathable.
- It is comprised of 3 layers: the soft, matte side of the fabric is strong and has the ability to stretch, the middle layer blocks the wind and rain entirely while still allowing the skin to breathe (this layer is called Dintex), and the lightweight mesh side of the fabric is comfortable against the skin.
- Dintex fabric is described by the developers as “(a) special membrane engineered with state of the art technology guaranteed to keep you dry and comfortable from the inside to the outside. Suitable for all weather conditions, Dintex provides an impenetrable layer to prevent water and wind coming in, while keeping the highest level of breathability.”
- The three layers of the fabric are comprised of the following:
- Outer layer: 94% polyester, 6% Spandex
- Middle layer (Dintex): 100% polyurethane
- Inner layer: 100% polyester
SAFETY-WISE:
The Sleep N’ Feed is a patent-pending revolutionary system that can be adjusted to grow with your baby. With special Velcro material called Veltex Display Loop and industrial grade Velcro fastens, the Sleep N’ Feed can be arranged in the position that is best for you and your baby.
Rolling Over:
The Sleep N’ Feed is not designed to prevent a baby from rolling over. Rolling over is a natural part of all babies’ development, and should be encouraged during supervised times. Babies should ALWAYS be placed on their back while in the Sleep N’ Feed. Your baby can be propped on her side for breastfeeding while the mother is fully present, but should NEVER be left alone or placed on her side for sleep.
Temperature Control:
The Sleep N’ Feed does not harbor heat. The fabrics are designed to be temperature regulating.
