Keeping Your Newborn Safe, Sweat-Free, and Happy
I have been a fan of Britax ever since having my son, almost 6 years ago now. For Newborns through 2 Years
THE PRODUCT:
With multiple B-Safe Infant Car Seats to choose from, I decided to go with the Britax Ultra model – mainly because they offered it with their Nanotex (ie, breathable) material – and having a baby due in the midst of the Texas heat, I knew there was no other way to go!
The B-Safe Ultra Infant Car Seat is designed for safety, comfort and mobility. You can easily and securely install the car seat with – or without – a base, making it super convenient if you ever switch cars, travel, etc. It also offers two layers of side impact protection plus the patented Britax SafeCell Impact Protection system, so your baby is surrounded in safety. It’s also Britax single stroller compatible, and with an adapter, it easily attaches to your BOB stroller, as well!
The straps are also easily adjustable and the material is some of the softest I felt! It’s also very easy to clean – which if you have babies, you know how important this feature is! The material is even water resistant, which again, is another big plus with infants!
Finally, one of my favorite aspects is the ventilation channels – so even on the hottest days my little one isn’t a hot, sweaty mess like my other children were in their car seats. Compared to other seats, it’s also fairly light-weight, making it much easier to maneuver in and out of the car [compared to other seats on the market].

FINAL THOUGHTS:
There is nothing more precious than a newborn baby, and keeping them safe and secure is every parents biggest concern. Especially after learning that car crashes are a leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 13 – and in 2016, there was an average of two deaths per day of kids under 13, many of which could have been prevented with proper use of car seats and restraints (read the full article by Laurence Banville Esq., ) – I want more than ever to be as proactive as possible in keeping my kids safe!
Keeping them comfortable is also a major priority, and if I can do it fashionably as well, than all the better – which is why I am truly in love with my new Britax B-Safe Ultra Infant Car Seat!
