FINAL THOUGHTS: I’m definitely a fan of hummus but will admit that the dip can get lost when mixed with lots of other ingredients (ie, a plate full of vegetable pasta), since it has – and will always have – a kind-of airy lightness due to the use of beans. But this problem is solved with Bitchin’ Sauce, thanks to the fatty richness of the almonds. However, this sauce is still light (aka, lower in calories) when compared to using an oil-based sauce or many other prebottled concoctions – and is WAY tastier and healthier than those will ever be!
