With long hours in traffic and even longer hours sitting in a chair at the office, our body goes through a lot on daily basis. After some time, this routine causes a lot of discomforts and often even the slightest physical activities leave us exhausted.

People often turn to painkillers, Snellville chiropractors, and other alternative medicines. Some go a step further and try to remedy fatigue and pain with stem cell therapy, which aims to restore healthy cells throughout the body. In the long run, the stem cell cost in California may be less than trial-and-error with DIY remedies and other alternative therapies. However, you can avoid excruciating body aches and tiredness by trying out these home remedies and finding out what works the best for you.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is known to have great anti-inflammatory properties that help with inflammation and ease pain. You can take add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to a glass of warm water and consume it. If you like you can also add honey for some added flavor and benefits.

Cold Compress

A cold compress can be helpful in easing body aches by temporarily reducing nerve activity where you are feeling pain. You can use an ice pack on the aching areas and leave it for 10 minutes. You can repeat this process 2 to 3 times a day until you start to gain relief from the pain.

Turmeric

Turmeric is a great home remedy to treat body aches. It is known for its anti-inflammatory, healing, and analgesic properties that help ease body aches and boost your overall immunity and health. You can consume turmeric by adding 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder to a glass of hot milk; and you can add honey for additional flavor and sweetness. Even if you are going to a car accident chiropractor in Snellville or one with other expertise, you can still opt for some of these home remedies that suit your body to help gain additional comfort and ease.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon spice is widely used around the world for flavoring different dishes. Besides, adding a delicious flavor to your food, cinnamon also has great anti-inflammatory, healing, and analgesic properties which help with treating body aches and boosting overall health. You can add one teaspoon of cinnamon powder to a glass of warm water, add honey for additional sweetness, and consume this mixture once every day.

Aside from cinnamon, there are also various herbal remedies for pain relief. Click here for more information.

Essential Oils

Essential oils, like Lavender oil, have pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties which can assist with body aches and any underlying inflammation in the body. You can use this essential oil by diluting it in a carrier oil, like olive or coconut oil, and gently massaging it all over your body. Wash off the oil after leaving it on for 30 to 40 minutes. You can also use other essential oils, like peppermint oil, for the same purpose, as well.

Mustard Oil

Massaging with mustard oil is also an effective way to help you with persistent body aches. Isothiocyanate, a compound found in mustard oil helps with reducing the pain you feel because of inflammation in the body. You can apply and massage your body with mustard oil, particularly focusing on the body part where you feel pain, leave it on for 30 to 40 minutes, and then take a shower. For best results try to do this at least once a day.
