It seems like there are so many events celebrating the Holiday season, choosing the perfect ones for you and your family can be tough. Especially if you are looking for something that kids and adults of all ages will enjoy. Well, if you’re in Dallas, than you should look no further than the Winter Wonderland Party on the Plaza with the Dallas Mavericks!
This year, the party was on December 8th at the American Airlines Arena (the home of the Mavericks, for those who aren’t familiar with Dallas J). Originally meant to be an outside event, with the Dallas Mavericks set to play the Houston Rockets after the festivities ended, the whole thing had to be moved indoors due to the cold and wet weather. Thank God, because it was pretty miserable out there!
Even though there were these last minute changes, the event was still super fun for my entire family with everything from balloon animals and face painting to appearances by Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman and even Santa and Mrs. Clause! We then got to go up to one of the Party Suites and enjoy lots of great food, gifts for the kids, and of course, watch the Mavs play – and beat – the Rockets!
This was the kids’ first professional basketball game, and I honestly don’t know how we’re going to beat all the fun they had, but we will definitely try again next year – and hope you guys can join us too!
