Eating Real Food, Only More Conveniently

We all know the importance of eating real, whole foods – as opposed to those that are overly processed and filled with artificial ingredients. Or so we think we do…

Hey, I’m not here to judge or to tell you that you’ve been doing it wrong! On the contrary, I’m here to help you find more convenient alternatives to having to buy loads of fresh produce every day and spending hours in the kitchen!

With the markets turning back in time to more of the Paleo-style of thinking – meaning how the cavemen used to do things before we had processed foods (and not necessarily that we need to follow the Paleo diet) – store shelves are now full of whole foods and ingredients, as well as products that claim to be but really aren’t… With that said, eating healthy is now easier than ever – although it’s also more confusing thanks to foods being labeled as “natural”, “whole grains”, “low-carb”, etc.

So how can we tell the difference between something that’s actually nutritious or those that just claim to be?! Simply check the ingredient list! If there are more than 5-7 ingredients, chances are there are processed foods in there somewhere. And if you can’t pronounce something, that’s pretty much a dead giveaway! Although these aren’t hard-set rules – there are always exceptions… Better yet, check out my Reviews and Insta-feed and find snacks, foods, and products that are not only nutritious but that you and your whole family are sure to love!
