FINAL THOUGHTS: Like many of you, I try to use as many organic products as I can and for those which aren’t, at least try to make sure they are free of any “known” carcinogens, as well as other phthalates, synthetic fragrances, colors, and parabens. However, I will admit that the packaging of these products isn’t something that I normally pay a lot of attention to. I’ve just figured that if the product is organic or free from chemicals and toxins, that this is “good enough”.
Well frankly, it isn’t. The more I’ve educated myself the more I’ve come to realize that there are many, many harmful toxins in the packaging itself, all of which gets leached into our pricey, organic and “better for you” products.
