Making a delicious coffee drink at home doesn’t need to be a difficult task. Here are some recipe ideas that you can use to refresh yourself after a long day at work.

Iced Coffee Recipe

On a hot day, the idea of drinking a hot cup of coffee doesn’t usually seem too appealing. The good news is that it’s easy to make an iced coffee from the comfort of your home. Here’s a simple recipe you can use.

First, make a cup of coffee. Do this the same way that you would if you were preparing to drink it hot. During this process, using a machine can be a big advantage. It will help ensure that you are getting the best flavor from the beans.

Next, wait for the coffee to reach room temperature. As you are doing this, you can get your iced coffee glass ready. You’ll want a tall glass. Fill it up to the top with ice cubes.

When your coffee has chilled, pour it into the glass. Add plant-based milk. You can also add some coconut sugar or syrup. Use a spoon that stretches down to the bottom, and stir the mixture. You should see the coffee and the milk combining, creating a delicious light brown drink.

To finish it off, you can add a squirt of coconut whipped cream. Now, the only thing left to do is enjoy your creation.

Heated White Russian Recipe

To celebrate the start of the weekend, you can treat yourself to an alcoholic coffee. If this is what you are craving, you might want to consider trying a hot White Russian with your friends. Here’s how you can make it.

First, you’ll want to create two and a half cups of coffee. Pour this mixture into a saucepan. Put the pan over moderate heat.

As the pan is heating up, it’s time to add the alcohol. You’ll want to use half a cup of a coffee-flavored liqueur. Next, put in a quarter of a cup of vodka. Finally, add half a cup of thick cream (I use coconut cream).

Keep these on the heat until they start to mix. Check that the mixture is hot. Then, divide it up and enjoy drinking it with your buddies.

Coffee Frappe Recipe

If you want to make a thicker coffee, you can turn to a frappe. This is another good drink to share with a friend as the recipe will make two servings.

First, you’ll want to make a cup of espresso coffee. Leave this some time to cool. Then pour it into a blender.

You’ll also want to put two cups of small ice cubes into the blender. Add half a cup of plant-based milk, three tablespoons of superfine sugar (I use erythritol for a sugar-free option), and a quarter of a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Finally, you’ll need to blend the ingredients. This should form a thick mixture. When it’s ready pour it into two tall glasses.

If you want, you can finish off the mixture with a layer of coconut whipped cream. You can also drizzle some vanilla extract or sprinkle some ground cinnamon across the cream layer for a fancier treat.
