Growing up, nothing screamed summer like eating a popsicle outdoors in the warm summer heat. And to me, nothing was more satisfying than a creamsicle, filled with fruity goodness and that tasty creamy center.
With that said, the popsicles [the majority of us] ate as kids were full of refined sugar, artificial flavors, colors, and chemicals – ingredients I definitely don’t want to be feeding my kids, or myself for that matter!
But, what if I told you that you could still enjoy those orange creamsicles you loved as a child, just a healthier and more nutritious version?
Well, wonder no more! Here is a simple dairy-free orange creamsicle recipe that is still filled with that tasty, creamy goodness, albeit all that other fluff. In fact, it can be made with as little as 2 ingredients, 4 if you feel like making it a bit “fancier”. Plus, it is packed with protein and tons of vitamin C too! So, let’s get to creamsicle makin’!
Easy Dairy-Free Orange Creamsicle Recipe
Prep Time: 3 mins
Freezing: 4+ hrs
Total Time: 4+ hours
Servings: 6
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ½ cup Organic Orange Juice (I like to use one with Pulp)
- 1 + 1/3 cup Dairy-free Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- 2 TB. + 1 TB. Erythritol or Xylitol (optional)
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
- Blend the Orange Juice, 1 cup of Yogurt, 2 TB. Erythritol, and the Vanilla until combined.
- Pour the orange cream mixture into your popsicle molds – make sure only to fill them about 2/3 of the way up in order to leave space for the cream mixture (directions below).
- Place the popsicle molds into the freezer and freeze for about an hour.
- While the mold is in the freezer, combine the remaining 1/3 cup of the yogurt with the remaining Erythritol and stir until thoroughly mixed (you may need to use a whisk).
- After an hour, when the mixture is solid enough to hold a popsicle stick in place without falling over, but not yet frozen, carefully add the popsicle sticks into the center of the popsicles.
- Next, carefully pour the sweetened yogurt mixture to fill the popsicles to the top.
- Place them back in the freezer and freeze until solid, at least 4 hours.
- Eat and enjoy!
