For MOMS & MOMS-TO-BE and Kids 5+*
I am amazed at how many water-inspired beverages there are for sale these days. From vitamin waters to fruit-infused, to those with probiotics and others with culinary spices, it’s not too hard to find something that even the biggest anti-water drinker will enjoy gulping down.
However, there is one water “niche” that hasn’t been successfully tapped yet, and until Arty’s Artichoke Water, I thought never would.
THE PRODUCT: Arty’s Artichoke Water is the world’s first premium artichoke beverage. Debuting at the 2014 Natural Products Expo West in California, Arty™ Water was an overnight sensation. A blend of fresh artichokes, apples, lemon, mint and monk fruit, not only is Arty™ Water light and zesty, it still maintains the earthy wholesomeness of artichokes [without scaring vegetable ‘haters’ away].
Developed by two scientists with diverse cultural backgrounds but who both loved artichokes and were well aware of its healthy properties, CEO Howard Ketelson (who drank artichoke-infused water for superior hydration after triathlon training), and Co-founder Yen Tran (who remembered the delicious artichoke tea his grandmother made for special family celebrations), came up with the idea and never turned back. Combining their extensive backgrounds in chemistry, nutrition and business, a delicious beverage loaded with vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber was produced.
Filled with nutrients, every drop of Arty™ Water is a fun, refreshing way to enjoy the healthy benefits of artichokes, while also keeping your taste buds satisfied and your body well hydrated along the way.
NUTRITION-WISE: Made from California artichokes and flavored with zesty lemon, refreshing mint and a touch of monk fruit and blue agave nectar for sweetness, Arty’s Artichoke Water is truly different from all of the other “vitamin waters” on the market. Loaded with essential vitamins A, E, C, B1, B2, B3, B6, and B9 along with vital minerals Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Iron, Arty™ Water is also packed with powerful antioxidants that are abundantly found in artichokes.
As a healthy alternative to artificially flavored beverages, Arty™ Water is vegan, low-glycemic, lactose-free, gluten-free and cholesterol-free. With about 40 calories per 8-ounce bottle, and 2 grams of fiber, there is also about 10 grams of sugar per serving.
*Arty’s Artichoke Water is a great way for adults and kids alike to hydrate naturally, all while getting some extra nutrients and fiber into their diets. However, with 10 grams of sugar per 8 oz serving, it’s not necessarily something I would want my little ones to drink on a regular basis. A couple ounces here or there is totally fine, but I try to avoid added sugars of any kind into my toddlers diet (and even my diet for that matter) and therefore, can’t recommend this for kids younger than 5. With that said, if it’s a matter or my child drinking this, or even regular fruit juice, I would choose Arty™ Water any day!
WHERE TO BUY: Arty’s Artichoke Water can conveniently be purchased directly Online, through Amazon.com.
FINAL THOUGHTS: When I first heard of a water infused with artichokes, I’ll have to admit I was a bit skeptical. Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of artichokes (I actually had one for dinner last night!). It was just the thought of vegetables in my water that was a bit off-putting.
That was until I tried it!
When you really think about it, artichokes contain florally notes, just as a tea does. And when you add citrus and a bit of sweetness, it’s not only extremely refreshing, but down right delicious! Add to that the fact that Arty™ Water is loaded with tons of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, and you really can’t go wrong.
Try Arty’s Artichoke Water today and see for yourself how refreshing this vegetable-inspired beverage can be!

++ Did you know?? California produces virtually 100 percent of the U.S. commercial artichoke crop, rivaled only by Italy and France. I didn't either ;)
