Plant-Based Protein Bars to Fuel You Through Your Day

Why do bars have to be so contemplated?! With 15+ ingredients, many of which you can’t pronounce, it’s no wonder that people get confused when looking at the ingredient labels – and so just settle on what tastes good. But what if you could have a simply-made bar that tastes good and is good for you?! Then you must have discovered Rise Bars!

At Rise Bar, they believe there is a direct correlation between what we put into our bodies and what comes out in terms of how we think, behave and perform. This is not only a truism they live by, but it’s what led them to create the world’s simplest protein bar: Rise Bar – a bar that delivers everything you need in order to rise above.

With 100% real food, a super-short ingredient list you can pronounce, and a maximum protein punch, Rise Bar has you covered so you can focus on the things that matter most: simplicity, community, rising to the challenge. This is Rise. Delicious protein snacks made simple, to fuel life’s adventures and rise above, one simple step at a time.

Rise Bar Plant-Based Protein Bars are available in 3 delicious flavors, including: Lemon Cashew, Chocolatey Coconut and Sunflower Cinnamon.

Rise Bar Plant-Based Protein Bars are all Vegan and non-GMO Project Verified. They are also Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Peanut-Free, and don’t contain any sugar alcohols, preservatives, or anything artificial.

The foundation of every Rise Bar is a delicious nut butter taste and texture. Their favorite: almond butter. This is due to the presence of monounsaturated fatty acids, dietary fiber, antioxidants, and naturally occurring protein. They also use sunflower seeds and cashews, which are both rich in minerals and amino acids. Rise Bar does prefer to avoid peanuts though, since they are full of anti-nutrients known as aflatoxins.

Rise Bar Plant-Based Protein Bars are also filled with Pea Protein Isolate: a plant based, non-GMO, allergen friendly protein, free of dairy and soy. Furthermore, they use Coconut Nectar to sweeten their products, due to its low glycemic factor. And for those wondering, while their Chocolatey Coconut bar does taste like chocolate, it only contains Carob Powder: to give the essence of chocolate without actually including it.

Each Rise Bar contains around 270 calories, 120 of which come from healthy fats, as well as 15 grams of protein, 3g of fiber and 16g of sugar. *(And yes, this is quite a lot, and is why I only give my children [starting at age 3] ½ a bar at a time. However, as mentioned, the sugar grams are due to the Coconut Nectar, which is a low glycemic food and therefore doesn’t affect blood sugar the same way other sugars do).

I also want to mention that Rise Bar does make Whey-based bars, but I am not covering them in this review.

In 2010, Pete Spenuzza began the development of a high-quality protein bar that would help people achieve their goals by the nature of its simple ingredients and outstanding nutrition. He called it Rise. Simply put, he believes everyone has the ability to rise above and achieve their dreams, one step at a time.

The first Rise Bar was very simply made. It consisted of almonds, honey and whey. That’s right — only three ingredients. But it worked. It was a success and consumers loved the idea of a simple, easy to understand protein bar. One that focused on real ingredients, while omitting anything frivolous or artificial.

Today, Rise has never strayed from the learning’s of that very first bar – minimal ingredients, real food and always made simple. Every Rise Bar is made in small batches in the commercial kitchen at their Irvine headquarters. They take an artisanal approach to their manufacturing process and slow roast their almonds, cashews, and other nuts on-site for maximum flavor. Pete and the Rise Bar team still taste test random batches every single day to ensure the ingredients and product standards never waver – and is why so many have come to know and trust Rise!

You can purchase Rise Bars directly from their Online Store, or at numerous retail locations nationwide.

At Rise Bar, they believe in real ingredients, made simple. Healthy doesn’t have to be so complicated. And I couldn’t agree more! With simple plant-based bars to help fuel you through your day and life, Rise Bars really are simply delicious!

Made with plant-based ingredients, Rise Bar’s Vegan line is filled with great quality, simple ingredients that you can feel good about. However, I do want to mention that due to the fact that there aren’t any preservatives or artificial ingredients in Rise Bars, and since their bars are primarily nut-based, you may find your bars contain an oily substance when unwrapped. This happens in the same way that your favorite nut butter develops a layer of oil on the top. Keeping them at room temperature and avoiding high heat will minimize this from occurring. However, it shouldn’t affect the taste – so feel free to Rise on!

Are you looking for a simpler way to get some extra protein into your life? Or maybe you just want a healthy bar you can eat on-the-go? Then you’ve got to try Rise Bar Plant-Based Protein Bars! Because it’s those small steps that make healthy living a lifestyle – so why not take one today?!
